18 - The West Doors
and Statues
Starting from the west doors (18) and
moving clockwise around the church,
depict: St. Peter (half scale copy
of that in St. Peter’s, Rome), St.
Agnes, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Clare,
St. Ignatius of Loyola, and in the
north transept St. Francis Xavier,
St. Patrick, going across the sanctuary,
a Guardian Angel, Our Lady of the
Immaculate Conception, St. Joseph
and St. Teresa of Avila.
In the south transept – St. Teresa of
Lisieux. In the south aisle St. Anthony
of Padua, Our Lady of Fatima, St. Joan
of Arc, St. Anne and St. Elizabeth of
Hungary. St. Joachim and St. Aloysius
are in the first and second chapels.
